THE VOICES OF WWII FOR USE IN THE CLASSROOM

FOR TEACHERS our goal is to help you bring the personal side of World War II alive in your classroom without having to find money in the budget for teaching materials, or spend hours of your valuable time developing lesson plans.

This teacher site contains:

	Lesson plans and lesson ideas that apply to the Washington State Essential Academic Learning RequirementS "EALRS";
	Information about how to use When We Were Kids...We Went to War, a video that will be in Washington State schools;
	Over 130 interview transcripts of Washington state WWII Veterans and citizens of the era for research projects;
	A step by step How to Do Oral History section for those who would like to create their own WWII oral history interviews as a class project, or as part of the national archive project.
